WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

When "Nature Reveals" itself, the Natural Elements of Light, Mood, Color, Texture, and Line come together. As a seasoned nature photographer, the technical aspects of the camera are already learned with the Love Triangle: the relationship between ISO, Shutter Speed, and F stop. Compositionally, the natural elements fall in place with the light and mood,but when there is action, I need to have my shutter speed at 1/1000 or greater to capture tack sharp, action.

WHAT I NEED TO KNOW

Researching for a scene or wildlife takes time as to knowing where your light source is coming from during the "golden" hours of the day. Thus, when you enter unfamiliar territory, scouting for sunrise/sunset light is of the utmost importance. Knowing the technical aspects of the camera is 2nd nature without struggling for the "love triangle" settings. After knowing these basics,I can concentrate on COMPOSITION.
